Salford Priors Warm Hub
Salford Priors Memorial Hall, School Road, Salford Priors WR11 8XD
Thursdays, 10.00am – 1.00pm
Salford Priors Parish Council are keen to provide residents with a warm, welcoming place to come together and meet new people or catch up with old friends. As well as enjoying a good chat over a free Warm Hub Menu – including hot lunches, toast, crumpets, toasties, cakes and biscuits in the community café, we provide table tennis, short mat bowls, dominoes, jigsaws, board games and a book library, so there is something for everyone and attendance has grown considerably with average numbers now around 50, ranging in age from 3 years to 90+.
Activities include a jigsaw corner, dominoes, chess, board games, bingo, and table tennis, providing something for all interests and encouraging social interaction. These activities help break the ice, build friendships, and support mental well-being through shared enjoyment.
Everyone’s welcome to enjoy a great community atmosphere and people can also be signposted to additional help and services where required. Our volunteers also really enjoy helping out at the weekly events.
