Shipston Warm Hub
Ground Floor, Ellen Badger Hospital, Stratford Road, Shipston on Stour CV36 4AX
Thursdays, 10.00 am – 12.00 noon
Shipston’s Community Warm Hub is a permanent weekly event run by the Stour Health & Wellbeing Partnership. Everyone’s welcome to join in the fun at this free event at the Ellen Badger Hospital where there is also free parking.
Enjoy free refreshments and a friendly chat, and there’s lots to do – you can play dominoes, cards or chess, or try out a new board game or two. For those who’d like a less competitive activity, you can relax over crosswords and puzzles, and you’ll also find colouring and reading books for children.
Each week we host a different activity. Bi monthly cooking sessions where the budding chefs make a 2 course meal. Monthly we have a visit from the frailty nurse. Monthly we provide a soup lunch, in conjunction with Shipston Home Nurses. We also offer drop in sessions for digital awareness, we have the social prescriber from the medical centre on hand each week to offer support and assistance. We also, informally work with a number of other agencies such as VASA, CIB, Act on Energy, HealthWatch and the Police service and offer a space for these agencies to offer their support to our attendees.
