Rural Housing Enabler
Rural Housing Enabler (Full Time) – £33,945 (pay award pending)
Are you passionate about housing and could you help us as we work with various partners to deliver affordable homes for people who need them in rural Warwickshire? We’ve got over 20 years of housing experience and are looking to grow the possibilities.
WRCC is looking for a new full-time Rural Housing Enabler as part of an exciting national project funded by DEFRA to help tackle the lack of affordable homes in rural communities.
Ideally you’ll have some housing experience, though just as important is an ambition to make things happen and experience of engaging with communities. The postholder will work closely with our Senior RHE to evidence rural housing need and engage partners to deliver affordable homes. The main focus for the role is Rugby and North Warwickshire districts but the work will take you across Warwickshire so your own transport is essential. And occasional attendance in person at parish council meetings is expected. Our office is close to Wellesbourne (near J15 M40) though this is a hybrid role with the option of some home working.
The post is full-time and initially offered on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2025 (though we hope funding will be extended and ongoing) with a salary of £33,945 (pay award pending).
Please look at the job description and person specification for the role (this is what we’ll evaluate applications against) and either submit your CV through the job site where you found the vacancy or to enquiries@wrccrural.org.uk. The closing date for applications is 10am on Thursday 6th June 2024 and interviews will be held on 12th or 13th June.
