It’s Rural Housing Week and we’re celebrating 20 years of the Warwickshire Rural Housing Enabler working with partners to develop local needs homes for rural communities.

Tenants love their new homes – see what they say below:

Miss C, Lighthorne Heath:

“This is my forever home. It’s my safe place and my forever family home. It’s really quiet here. All the kids play with each other and we all look out for them. It’s safe for them. I love it.”

Mrs B, Long Itchington:

“My son lives here in a shared ownership house, and my other son’s girlfriend is here, plus my grandchildren. We all live near each other in the village. It’s amazing to have these [homes] here and have my family close by”

Mrs D, Snitterfield:

“It’s lovely. We’ve got a big garden. We really love it.”

Ms S, Harbury

“I was living with my dad in the village before, but it is brilliant to have my own space. I’m really pleased with it.”

Mrs E, Lower Brailes

“We are both so delighted to be living here. You have no idea the difference it has made to our lives”.
