Village Halls 2025 Inspiration Awards

There are now just five weeks left to enter the Village Halls Inspiration Awards 2025 – the annual celebration of the incredible work being done by village, community, and memorial halls across the UK. Entries close on 30 September 2025, so there’s still time for eligible halls to get involved — but the countdown is on.

How to Enter
Halls are invited to submit a short written story (600–800 words) about a project that made a positive difference, such as:

• New initiatives or services for the community
• Ways of boosting participation and engagement
• Sustainability improvements or financial resilience
• Overcoming local challenges through creativity and teamwork

£5,000 in prizes will be awarded:

• £2,500 – 1st place
• £1,500 – 2nd place
• £1,000 – 3rd place

Winning halls will also be featured in future episodes of The Village Halls Podcast, offering national recognition and the chance to inspire others.
