We’re pleased to announce that support for village halls and other community buildings across Warwickshire will now be delivered directly by our CEO, Chris Cowcher and other members of the WRCC team.

This marks the end of our recent and very successful partnership with Halls Together, who have provided a fantastic service to Warwickshire’s village halls on our behalf. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and expertise, which have helped strengthen community buildings across the county.

While this formal arrangement is coming to a close, our relationship with Halls Together remains strong. As they are part of our neighbouring organisation, Leicestershire and Rutland RCC, we will continue to work closely with them. We also encourage village halls to stay connected through the Halls Together Facebook page, which remains a valuable space for peer networking and engagement with other halls across the region.

Bringing our advice service back in-house reflects our commitment to building even stronger relationships with our members. When WRCC was founded 88 years ago, one of our core missions was to support village halls. These buildings are more than just bricks and mortar—they are multi-service community assets and the lifeblood of rural life.

We’re excited to support the next generation of community-led action and look forward to working with you to ensure village halls and other community buildings continue to thrive at the heart of Warwickshire’s communities.
